Dr. Paul Howe, Director of Professional Programs was recently appointed as a Visiting Professor to the US-Asia Technology Management Center at Stanford University. In the role as Visiting Scholar, Dr Howe’s duties will include conducting joint research with Dr. Richard Dasher into technology transfer dynamics from university to investor funded startup companies and into the impact of university partnerships on corporate innovation capacity and productivity. Further, Dr. Howe will be undertaking teaching at both the Stanford School of Engineering and the Stanford Business School as well as industry collaboration with the local startup and entrepreneurship ecosystem. Stanford University, located between San Francisco and San Jose in the heart of California’s Silicon Valley, is one of the world’s leading teaching and research universities. Dr Howe said “it will be great to return to San Francisco, a city where I grew up and know well. I look forward to mingle with entrepreneurs, academics and innovators from well-known tech companies such as Apple, Google and Facebook.”
