Elite Education Institute aims to help students secure good quality internships and careers upon graduation. We offer assistance in:

  1. Vacation work
  2. Unpaid work placement
  3. Business Internship

Vacation work

Vacation work and internship opportunities are great ways to gain valuable experience and add to your skills. Vacation work and internship opportunities are advertised via our Online Jobs Board and weekly e-mails.

You’ll find that a number of organisations offer students in their second last year the chance to get paid work during the summer break. In fact, students who perform well in these programs are sometimes offered full time work there at the end of their degree, making them fantastic opportunities to shine. Dates for applications will differ between organisations, but most open around mid-year, and some open as early as March. Initially, you should explore the website of organisations you are particularly interested in working for to see if they have the relevant information.

Unpaid work placement

The most common types of unpaid placements are outlined below, with checklists to guide you. If you are unsure about the unpaid arrangements with your employer, visit the Fair Work Ombudsman website (opens external site) for more information.

Unpaid internships

You might be thinking of doing an unpaid work placement that isn’t a requirement of your course. Placements like this can offer work experience, a chance to apply what you’ve have learnt at university, and an opportunity to create a professional network and clarify your career goals.
